I received notice of this safety recall, and contacted Ganley VW of Bedford, 250 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146, (888) 650-9208. They scheduled an appointment for me to have my airbag fixed per the recall, but then they cancelled my appointment because the parts were on backorder with no foreseeable date to fix the issue. They said they’d call me when they could schedule, but it has been months and I have not received a call. I called again today, 4/22/25, and was told parts are still on backorder and I cannot schedule a time to get the issue fixed. I was told maybe in 2 more months I could get it fixed.
