The integrated use of telecommunications in a vehicle provided to drivers so as to make driving easier and safer, whether inside the vehicle, on other vehicles, or on the roadside. Examples include turn signals, brake lights, hazard lights, digital instrument panels, and any of the wide variety of features offered by onboard computer systems, such as turn-by-turn navigation and proximity sensors.
