Neutral
A gear selector position in which no gear is engaged, such that there is no transmission of torque between the input and output shafts of the gearbox.[4] The neutral position effectively disconnects the driveline between the engine and the wheels. Power may still be generated by the engine, but it cannot be delivered to the wheels; unless braking prevents it, the wheels of a vehicle in neutral are still capable of rotating in either direction under the momentum imparted by any external force.
