Saturday 14 June 2025: PEUGEOT GTi driving pleasure in action! At 12.30 p.m., the new E-208 GTi set off on the 13.626 km of the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours circuit. On board: John ELKANN, CEO of STELLANTIS and Alain FAVEY, CEO of PEUGEOT.

Thirty 205 GTi cars driven by their owners, all fans of the marque, accompanied the E-208 GTi on its first lap of the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit in a spectacular parade.
Among these thirty 205 GTi, an exceptional model, the very first 205 GTi, on loan from Aventure PEUGEOT, was driven by VIP drivers: Jean-Philippe IMPERATO, Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis Enlarged Europe and Jean-Marc Finot, Senior Vice President of Stellantis Motorsport.
It was an emotional moment for Jean-Marc Finot, who was part of the design team for the 205 GTi 40 years ago and who supervised the design of the new PEUGEOT E-208 GTi, developed by PEUGEOT Sport.
