The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated while driving at 45 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed, and the vehicle failed to respond. The check engine warning light was illuminated. On a separate occasion, the contact stated that while driving uphill or driving forward, the vehicle lost motive power while depressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed with air injection pumps and air injection switching valves failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
