Vehicle Information: Year/Make/Model: 2022 Toyota RAV4 LE VIN: [XXX] Owner: [XXX] Summary of Problem: Water is building up inside the doors of my 2022 Toyota RAV4 LE. I purchased this vehicle brand new, and Iave had several problems back-to-back. When I took the car to the Toyota dealership, the service technician told me this is a known issue with RAV4 models and may be caused by clogged drain holes inside the doors. This is a serious concern because the trapped water can lead to rust, mold, and electrical damage. I bought a Platinum extended warranty, but the dealership said this issue is not covered. Iam very frustrated because I maintain this car properly and expect better quality from Toyota, especially when the defect is known. Toyota has a Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0084-21 Rev1) about this problem, but no recall has been issued. I believe this is a design flaw and could turn into a safety hazard if the water affects electronics or mold forms inside the car.
