I attempted to open my car door and the door handle simply snapped off in my hand. This is the second time this has occurred. The first time, my driver’s door handle snapped off when a technician at my Goodyear repair shop tried to open it. Now, the exact same thing happened to my passenger driver’s side door when I went to open it. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the manufacturing is defective, as the handle seems to have been simply glued on in spots rather than more securely attached. Bear in mind that this car is barely driven more than twice a week; it barely has any wear and tear and is under 80,000 miles despite 12 years of use.
