My truck is a 2017 Ram 2500 and is experiencing the same issues as those included in NHTSA Recall No. 24V-896. However my truck was produced before the April 1, 2017 range listed. I have replaced the HCU as recommended by the dealer on [XXX] at my own cost and this did not resolve the issue. The dealer says the control module is faulty, but Chrysler will not provide the part as they say the HCU I purchased is in the Faulty range also but they say that even though the part I purchased to correct the issue is under recall, my truck is not and they have not responded to my request to correct the issue. This is a safety concern as it affects ABS, TSC, Parking Assist sensors and most importantly prevents the vehicles 4WD system from engaging which is an extreme safety concern in the mountains of North Carolina in winter. I have been trying to fix the problem at my own cost for a year and a half and the gross negligence on the part of Chrysler and Stellantis will not even allow me to purchase the needed parts. I am seriously considering legal action due to this total disregard for the safety and lives of their customers.
