On more than five occasions, the engine shut off without warning and the emergency brake and battery light came on. All instances occurred when I was slowing down at a stop sign or attempting to turn. I have taken my truck to at least 3 differend dealerships regarding the issues. The Horne dealership in Show Low, AZ, connected a code reader and stated it could be the eco battery system and if I drove the truck more it would most likely recharge on its own. They further stated it was a low etorque battery system malfunction. No paperwork was initiated. The Jim Marsh dealership in Las Vegas, stated they knew what the probem was and it would be 10 days to get the part in to make the repair. They gave me a rental car under my Mopar warranty and sent me on my way as I was out of state. The next day they called me and stated it was fixed and put in a new standard battery (which I paid for) and not the etorque battery. One month later the same thing occurred. The engine shut off again without warning. I’m in the process of taking it back to my local dealership.
