The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. While the contact’s wife was driving approximately 65 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle slowed, and the RPMs fell to nearly zero. The contact stated that the vehicle also experienced power steering failure, and the transmission shifted into park (P) and could not be taken out of park (P). The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to a local dealer. The vehicle was diagnosed, and it was determined the ABS module needed to be reprogrammed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 160,000.
