Transmission malfunction/failure caused loss of all power and had to coast over 3 lanes to the only available shoulder on the left side of the express lanes. This in and of itself could have been catastrophic due to the speed of the vehicles on the express lanes. Turns out there’s a failure point on the flexplate and nissan techs are aware of the issue. Nissan as a whole should replace them if this is the result.
