Description:
I own a 2019 Nissan Altima S, and recently, all three door locks except for the front passenger door stopped responding to the key fob and the button on the door. From my research, it seems that the most common cause of this issue is a faulty door lock actuator. Many users on Reddit and other forums have reported that the door lock actuators in 2019 Nissan Altimas or new models 2020, 2021 and 2022 can fail, resulting in doors that wonat lock or unlock either with the key fob or even manually. This problem can affect one or multiple doors at a time and is often attributed to a defective actuator. I spoke with a Nissan customer who refused to repair my vehicle and advised me to contact the NHTSA. They will investigate, and if approved, Nissan will repair the issue at no charge. I would like to report this issue for a potential recall and seek assistance with repairs, which are estimated to cost around $1,000
