Description:
My car was showing a ‘service hybrid system’ warning light in the months of April and May 2025 intermittantly along with a slight loss of power. I took it to the dealership and was told its a software issue but it’s fine. Stellantis is aware of this issue but there is no fix. I brought it back a week later with the same concerns and reading the document the dealership gave me – the 95B recall fix apparently crashed communication modules with my ORC. I expressed safety concerns. The dealership once again cleared codes and told me it was safe to drive. One week later on May 8, 2025, I was driving home from work. Without warning, the car locked up and went limp in the middle of the road. I went from 35mph to 0mph without seconds. I luckily was not rear ended. The dealership opened up another case with STAR. I have since gotten rid of the car due to continuous recalls and issues. I did not feel safe in this car and I feared for myself as well as others on the road. I am only taking the time to report this because there is no fix, my dealership repeadily gave the car back to me (in the notes, it was to be returned to me on 5/12 with no fix), and others are having the same issue.
