While idling (vehicle running in electric mode) in park, for approximately 10 minutes we attempted to put the car in drive. The vehicle acted as if it needed to be turned on, displaying the message ‘Press Brake and Push Button to Start’ while also displaying a red battery light. Different warning messages came up showing Traffic Sign Assist Unavailable and others. We could not turn the vehicle off even with holding down the start/stop button, were unable to shift the vehicle either. Finally after ten minutes of pressing the start/stop button the vehicle finally shut off and we were able to restart it with no issues. The next week as I was driving, I would randomly get a warning light with a red wrench and a message that said Service Hybrid System. Both instances have happen two additional times. The vehicle is now sitting at the dealership and they are unable to diagnose the problem. This all has occurred after the 95B recall work was completed. This is a safety issue as the vehicle will not shut off and won’t shift. So if the vehicle is parked inside of a garage and idles and then dsn’t shut off that will lead to carbon monoxide leaking into the houses. Or being stranded somewhere unable to move your vehicle.
