The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V011000 (Power Train); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated while driving 80 MPH, the vehicle stalled in the middle of the highway. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle failed to start and was towed to the mother-in-law’s residence. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with PTU failure.
