My vehicle was recalled due to safety issues relating to the potential for the high voltage battery to catch fire(Recall H514- 24V633000). The interim fix was to reduce the capability of the vehicle to 80% charge, which negated the need to park away from structures. This was completed by my dealer in Nov 2024. The final fix for this issue was for the vehicle to be repurchased ‘As quickly as possible’. A new recall was announced in February 2025 (H536-24V-633. In this recall the following statement is very worrying ‘Owners who have previously had their vehicle updated with the improved diagnostic software are under the impression that their vehicle is protected from thermal overload which, for 2019 model year vehicles may not be the case.’ . I do not believe based on that statement that my vehicle is safe. I have not heard anything from Jaguar since Nov 6th 2024 and although I have called and emailed them they say you will hear something in the next couple of weeks, now 3 months later I am no nearer the promised repurchase and I have a potentially unsafe vehicle parked in my garage.
