Often after signaling and completing a right turn, the momentum of the turn signal stalk automatically returning to the off position carries it slightly past center, causing the left turn signal to flash 3 times. This can lead to confusion for other drivers. For example, when I am turning onto a multi-lane roadway, they may mistakenly believe that I intend to immediately merge into their lane and react defensively, disrupting traffic flow in potentially dangerous ways. This has not been inspected and confirmed yet by my dealer service department, but unfortunately seems to be a common complaint made by other Prologue drivers that I’ve conversed with. This issue has also been observed by Chevrolet Blazer EV owners as their vehicle utilizes identical turn signal stalk components.
