Multiple warning lights and alarms sounding after starting the engine: Collision Mitigation System Problem. Road Departure Mitigation System Problem. Adaptive Cruise Control Problem. Lane Keeping Assist Problem. Auto High Beam Braking System Error. When these warning lights are on, the vehicle continues to drive and brake as if these features were not installed. HOWEVER, since the ‘Brake System Error’ light is now always illuminated, there is no longer an on dash warning to indicate an actual problem with the braking system. This began in August of 2024 as a single episode. It escalated to intermittent occurrences. It now happens every time. Malfunctioning braking and lane minding systems pose obvious danger to passengers. Problem was noted by Virginia State Vehicle Inspection station.
