I own a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The backup camera frequently malfunctions by either displaying a black screen, freezing, or glitching with distorted visuals. This issue occurs more often than not when the vehicle is put into reverse. Iave confirmed that my vehicle is not included in NHTSA Recall Number 22V082000, but the symptoms match exactly. This creates a clear safety concern, especially in school zones, parking lots, and other areas where visibility behind the vehicle is critical. I believe my vehicle should be included in the existing recall or a new investigation should be opened for additional affected vehicles outside of the current VIN range.
