Vehicle has had electrical issues since purchased new. Ford service center could not fix after several attempts. Customer service/ warranty was unhelpful. All issues surfaced prior to 60k miles. Has had about 6 battery replacements in less than a year. Now at 68k miles vehicle has been at shop for weeks and being told a new engine is needed. Ford shop services commercial vehicles but wonât replace engine. Vehicle has to be transported to another ford shop for repair. One of the engine issues identified was lifters. From other FedEx contractors and Ford service shops and dealers, this had become a common issue with the 7.3 engine but is not yet a recall issue. My vehicle has low miles and low idle time yet needs a new engine. We need some intervention with Ford, who is not holding itself accountable.
