The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-350. The contact stated that the driver’s side front door latch failed to lock and securely close the door. The contact stated that the failure only occurred during cold weather. The failure had occurred 4 times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was informed that there was an undisclosed Customer Satisfaction Program for the door latch freezing and the door lock actuator failing to operate as designed; however, the contact was not provided the CSP number. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 82,000.
