I was driving along and the top hat on my suspension blew out. Toyota used a cast aluminum top hat on the top of the coil over and the shock blew through the top of the top shock mount. They used a steel top hat on the 4Runner so I believe they know it is an issue but havenat had enough issues with it yet to do a recall. I uploaded a picture of what my coil over looks like after it happened and what it is supposed to look like. Stock trd offroad suspension.
