I’m reporting an issue that was previously reported on earlier model F150’s with the transmission sensor. I had an error code come up and the truck would not shift out of 3rd gear. After taking it to the shop they said it was likely the speed sensor within the transmission, and that the whole transmission casing and sensor needed to be replaced since it causes issues with shifting. After research, this has been under investigation, and clearly needs to be addressed. This is going to cost thousands to repair an issue that has been known on these 6 speed transmissions by Ford.
