On the hood, the paint is coming off (and has been for several years). It looks like maybe where it was ‘clamped’ (for lack of better words) while they were painting the hood and maybe the paint didn’t adhere like it should. I have actually seen several 2015 Ford Explorers that have the exact same paint spots missing on their hoods. One time I almost tried to get into another Explorer because it was black and the paint was missing in the same spot and i thought it was my car. My next issue is the back up camera doesn’t work more often than it does. It always says unavailable. I know there have been recalls on other Fords for the exact same reason, so not sure why 2015 Ford Explorers were excluded.
