This vehicle reports a ‘Shift to Park’ error message when parking the car. The gearshift is in the parked position but the sensor if not responding correctly. The alarm continues to buzz and we are unable to turn the car off and exit the vehicle. We must continue to ‘wiggle’ the gear shift and even drive around the block and try to park again to have this message stop. Very afraid that the car is not recognizing the ‘parked’ position and will move even though we think it is parked. We understand that this has been an issue with Chevrolet since 2017 and no recall has been issued. PLEASE help.
