I was able to distinguish today the car noises my vehicle is making happens when I break. Like a âeeeeek❠sound. My mileage is under 8,000, had the car almost a year. Also I notice my wheel stiffens. Iâm able to verify it happens when I merge — specifically when the lane dashes end. The wheel somehow gets tight even when driving with both hands. As if the vehicle gets confused. This has happened about 5 times this year but every time it happens- I brace myself for the vehicle to crash since I canât control the wheel, no matter how strong I try to gain control. The wheel gets too tight to steer. These episodes lasts about 3-4 seconds. I am going to take it to the dealership on April 1, 2025. Also there were no messages on my dashboard when these episodes occurred.
