Fisker Inc has gone out of business. A mandatory recall has been issued and the bankruptcy court has assigned a trustee to ensure vehicles are updated to version 2.2 to address safety recall issues. The update to 2.2 has been extremly unpredictable and the trustee has not been able to complete this recall. Of the cars that were updated, mine, almost immediately the estimated range has been reduced drastically. The car was marketed as 360 miles range on 100% charge and now after the update I barely see 190-200 at 100% charge. This occured since the recall update. thats like 40-45% reduction in range costing everyone double the electricity needed to charge the vehicle and everyone I know that got the 2.2 update has been going through this issue. After running a diagnostic with a fisker tech, they mentioned it’s a 2.2 update issue and no fix out there yet. However the trustee is responsible to roll this same update to other cars as well that hasn’t received it. The tech explained this is occuring due to the rear motor is now throwing ‘flux error codes’ and not functioning properly past 2.2 update which is causing the insane battery drain. In my opinion this is something that needs to be addressed. NHTSA recall campaign numbers for the software recalls are 24V865000 and 24V623000
