I’ve had to replace the 12v battery in my ID.4 due to battery failure twice since I’ve owned it, and according to the service department at VW, the battery was replaced on delivery too. So that’s a total of three batteries since it came off the production line. I’m also having issues with my doors handles not working properly and haven’t been able to have the open recall performed on my vehicle due to backordered parts. It’s been more than 6 months since the issue started and I still don’t have any updates. The infotainment screen randomly blanks out while driving and is especially problematic when I’m backing the car up because the backup camera cuts out and is a huge safety issue. Lastly, the windows roll down when I press up on the switch which has caused a bunch of issues when driving in snow/rain. I was told it is due to an overly sensitive pinch monitor system and that there’s no fix for it. All in all, I don’t feel like I can trust the car and definitely don’t feel safe driving it.
