The contact drove the vehicle to a Hyundai dealer for the vehicle to be diagnosed. The dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V343000 (POWER TRAIN). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was 132,000.
