While at a stop light, with start/stop active, I released the brake, which should have ‘reactivated’ the car. Instead, it shut down. I got a quick transmission service error on the dash. Once I put the car in park and turned it off and then on again, it functioned properly. I. The meantime I was being honked at from everyone missing the green light behind me.
