

Founded by Jean-Marie Corre in Levallois-Perret, near Paris. Initially, the company was simply called Corre, but after a series of racing victories by pilot Waldemar Lestienne, whose family crest featured a unicorn, the brand was renamed Corre La Licorne – “Corre the Unicorn”. After World War II, the company failed to recover and ceased production in 1947, and was officially closed in 1949.
