Description:
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2023 GLC300 vehicles. The front tow eye may be inadequately threaded to the crossmember and can detach during towing.
Consequences:
A detached tow eye can separate the vehicle from the tow truck, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Actions:
Dealers will inspect and replace the front crossmember, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 26, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA’s numbers for this recall are 2023090010/120002.
