Description:
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Ford Maverick vehicles equipped with Connected Touch Radios (CTR). The rearview camera image may freeze when the vehicle is in reverse.
Consequences:
An inoperative rearview camera display can reduce the driver’s rear visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Actions:
Dealers will update the Connected Touch Radio (CTR) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 21, 2025. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 24S59.
