Description:
Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Mack LRBE trucks. The high voltage batteries may have loose hardware that can fall inside the battery pack and create a short circuit.
Consequences:
A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.
Actions:
Dealers will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 19, 2025. Owners may contact Mack’s customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack’s number for this recall is SC0475.
