The contact stated that while driving on a main street at 5 MPH, the contact attempted to slow down the vehicle by depressing the brake pedal, and in the process, the brakes locked and the vehicle proceeded to accelerate without the contact’s consent. The contact was involved in a front-end collision with the vehicle in front of them. No property damage was reported. The vehicle came to a stop upon impact. The vehicle was towed back to the Enterprise rental center, where the vehicle was originally rented. The airbags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was not destroyed. Three people were reported to be injured: the contact seated in the driver’s seat, the contact’s coworker seated in the front passenger seat, and the contact’s wife seated in the rear passenger seat.
