Honda case#: 15542096. Rear camera will go black and white intermittently. Rear camera replaced under warranty at under 6k miles 9/25/25, however, problem still persists randomly. Attached pics on 3/22/25 and 4/2/25 are examples of this issue I witnessed and obtained photo of. Dealership says they cannot duplicate and cannot proceed forward with repair or diagnosis on 3/18/25 RO#377440 with just under 15k miles. No rhyme or reason for random occurrences other than seems to happen when weather changes drastically (cold or rain). It’s a safety issue because black and white is a deviance from normality and it is not discerning enough with the low quality resolution camera used to prevent backing up into someone or something. Color helps the eye discern shapes, people, and things better protecting objects from damage and life from harm. Honda and the dealership so far has refused to take action or solve even though the car is under warranty.
