The contact stated that the latch did not lock as needed, and the door ajar message was displayed. In addition, the contact stated that several times the door latched and unlatched independently. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The dealer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance.
