Description:
Key Safety Systems, Inc. — (DBA Joyson) submitted a defect information report based upon the recall determinations made by General Motors, LLC (24V-756) and Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) (25V-010). The right and left side curtain air bag inflators may rupture due to a manufacturing defect.
Consequences:
An inflator rupture may result in sharp metal fragments striking occupants, resulting in injury.
