The vehicle a 2024 F150 Hybrid with under 3,000 miles. First reported engine warning light was on 4/4/2025 at 2:23PM. The warning light indicated that ‘service engine soon alert is on because an issue has been detected with the fuel tank or lines’ After a week while waiting for the appointment date the warning light went off. Then on 4/24/2025 at 3:28PM the same warning light reappeared. Took the truck to the dealership and they said they had to drop the. fuel tank to repair and issue. After 2 days the vehicle was returned to me. The problem was as noted on the Ford dealership invoice states, ‘Fuel Vapor Vent Valve is leaking’. That was replaced. Also the initial diagnostic noted the ‘FTP would not hold vacuum even when canister and vapor blocking valve are closed’
