A couple months ago our check engine light came on. Through going to the dealership and a local mechanic we found out that it’s an electrical issue as well as a safety issue. The wire connections have failed. This led to the grill shutters being forced open and if they close there will be no air going to the engine which will cause the engine to seize and/or a fire, which would lead to an accident and/or death. This isn’t a safety recall at this point and this is a very big concern.
