The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 18V332000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL) 19V347000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES), and 17V302000 (AIR BAGS); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact stated that after driving 5 MPH, the vehicle was parked. The contact then attempted to restart the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to restart. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact attempted to replace the battery and restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with an ABS locking system failure. The vehicle remained at the dealer for a year awaiting the repair because parts were still not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
