When the vehicle is completely stopped, shifted to the park position, ignition turned off, the motor will stop running but an error come up on the dash ‘ shift to park’ and the horn start chirping and the instrument panel, radio etc. will not shut off even though it is in park .I have read this is a huge safety concern with my model truck and many other Chevrolet vehicles but I’m not sue if it’s resulted in any injuries or damage.
