When coasting from approximately 30 to 20 mph vehicle will hard downshift from gears 4,3, 2. On the highway, when I need to accelerate to avoid other vehicles that are driving unsafe I will step on the accelerator and transmission will hesitate. Has been more than one occasion when transmission has hestited, hard shifted to different level and has at one occasion randomly shifted to first gear before jumping back to 8th. This appears to be a common issue with Ford’s 10R80 transmissions.
