The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The low fuel pressure warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was started. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The contact stated that the vehicle had been to the dealer several times for the failure. In addition, the low-pressure fuel pump was replaced in 2024; however, the failure reoccurred. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer more than fourteen times regarding the failure. The contact stated that the failure occurred while the vehicle was driven above 50 MPH. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 154,000.
