The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the spark plugs were replaced; however, the failure returned soon after repair. The independent mechanic was notified and informedof the contact of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The contact performed a VIN search on the NHTSA website and discovered that the vehicle was not included in the recall. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 131,000.
