The contact stated the failure occurred while driving on a steep hill. The contact stated that a passerby stopped and assisted with getting the vehicle to the shoulder of the roadway. The passerby connected battery cables to start the vehicle. The vehicle started and the contact drove the vehicle to a nearby Auto Parts store. The representative charged the battery overnight; however, the next day the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer.
