Hi — I’m filing a complaint against Chevrolet with the NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation. I purchased a brand new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado in Dec of 2024 from a dealership in MA. I’ve had the truck for only 2 months and only a couple thousand miles. I was in Quebec with my family for a ski vacation and we were driving back on [XXX} when my truck suddenly started making loud engine noises. I was able to get off the interstate to a gas station and then the truck turned off and would not start again. I had the truck towed to a Chevrolet dealership in Granby, Quebec. There was no warning or alerts before the engine failed. This is a known issue that the NHTSA is currently investigating, it has to do with the 6.2L V8 engine in GM vehicles from 2019-2024.
