The front chrome grill on my Sierra 1500 SLT has begun to detach, and there is currently a recall for this specific component on my vehicle. I took my truck to GMC Covert Bee Cave to get this recall and 1 other recall fixed, but GM ds not have a remedy for grill. Not only ds this pose a safety risk to myself, but I use my truck as a source of income by renting it out on Turo, and Turo has unlisted my truck from the app indefinitely or until this remedy is resolved. The paperwork I received from the dealership confirms GM has no remedy for the recall, and they sent me on my way without even offering a replacement vehicle. My truck is available for inspecting if you would like to see it. My safety and others safety is at risk if this recall ds not receive a remedy or if GM ds not give me a replacement vehicle in the meantime. No warning lights or any other systems can notify me if the grill is going to detach all the way, and I will not be able to have this source of income from Turo without the ability to have my truck relisted.
