The contact owned a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while the contact’s wife was driving at an uncertain approximately 45-90 MPH, another vehicle merged in front of the contact causing the driver to swerve and the other vehicle crashed into the front driver-side tire and frame. The contact stated that the air bags did not deploy. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. The contact stated that the vehicle was later towed to the insurance company’s tow yard for inspection. The vehicle incurred damage to the front driver’s side of the grill and the driver’s side of the vehicle. In addition, the contact stated that the front driver’s side wheel was folded underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was condemned as a total loss by the insurance company. The contact’s grandson, who occupied the front passenger seat, sustained no injuries. The contact’s wife was transported to the local hospital. The contact’s wife received unknown injuries and was transported to the hospital for a CT scan and continued medical attention with her primary care doctor, a neurologist, and continued physical therapy.
