The car was leased on 12/18/2024. On 01/24/2025, after starting the vehicle, the check engine light came on with the description: ‘a malfunction in the electronic control of the engine, throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected. Contact your Toyota dealer to have your vehicle inspected.’ I am attempting to get an appointment now to get the car in for service but being a month old – this shouldn’t be happening.
